In Sudan, the death toll in ethnic conflict after a land dispute has risen from 150 to 200. More than 300 people have been injured in the violence. According to media reports, women, children and elderly are among the dead.

There was a dispute over land between the Hausa community and members of the Wad al-Mahi faction. As the fight escalated, shots were fired from both sides and houses were set on fire.

Terrorist hideout unearthed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban, arms and ammunition recovered in huge quantity

Police and Army have recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition from the forest of Khari tehsil of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. This was recovered from a suspected terrorist hideout during a joint search operation. Police have registered a case under Arms Act and Explosive Substances Act. the matter is being investigated.

The recovered weapons included 310 rounds of AK47, 30 bullets of 9MM, one magazine, 6 magazines of AK rifles, one grenade, one tape recorder, one handset fitted with antenna, two cassettes.
