This time India and Bollywood dominated the 95th Oscar Awards ceremony. The song Naatu Naatu from the film RRR won the award for Best Original Song. Many such moments came during this ceremony which were memorable. Deepika got emotional on hearing the winning announcement, while RRR director Rajamouli was seen sitting at the back of the theatre.
Apart from this, The Elephant Whispers became the Best Documentary Short Film. However, the documentary feature film All That Breathes dropped out of the race. India got nominations in these three categories in the Oscar Awards.

Junior NTR, the lead star cast of Natu Natu, clicked a photo with the Oscar trophy after the ceremony. He wore a Gaurav Gupta designer suit with a tiger printed on it.

Composer MM Keerwani expressed his happiness by singing after winning the Oscar. He said- Every Indian was praying, only RRR won the Oscars.

While the people present in the theater gave a standing ovation during the natu-natu performance, RRR director Rajamouli and his family were seen sitting at the back.

The scene of Ukraine’s Mariinsky Palace was created in the Dolby Theatre. In the film it was shot in August 2021 at the President’s Palace in Kiev before the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine War.

Jimmy Kimmel warned the Oscar winners not to exceed their allotted time, but they were escorted off the stage by Natu’s dance crew.

RRR’s lead star cast Ramcharan Tej and Jr NTR were also present during the Oscar ceremony in Los Angeles, but both did not give a stage performance.

Before the start of the award ceremony, Deepika Padukone got a photoshoot done with Ramcharan Teja. Deepika was present here as a presenter for the song performance of RRR.

The Elephant Whispers, produced by Guneet Monga, won the Oscar for Best Short Documentary. Earlier in 2019, his documentary ‘Period End of Sentence’ has also won the Oscar for Best Documentary Short Film.

Black Panther Wakanda Forever’s track Lift Me Up songwriter Thames got trolled for her dress. The people sitting behind him in the theater had trouble because of the dress.

Singer Rihanna performed Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, a tribute to Chadwick Boseman. Rihanna performed live after 4 years. She was also seen flaunting her baby bump.

Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel first parachuted onto the stage, then brought a donkey onto the stage. This donkey was representing The Banshees of the Inshine.

Elizabeth Banks, who directed the horror comedy Cocaine Bear, brought a bear to announce the visual effects winner. Although it was only a dummy.

Malala Yousafzai, co-producer of the short documentary Stranger at the Gate, was seen in a shimmery gown. In 2015, Yousafzai was the subject of the Oscar-shortlisted documentary, Named Me Malala.

The film’s song Naatu Naatu is based on friendship. It took 19 months to make this song. Composer MM Keeravani had written 20 songs for the film, but out of those 20, Natu-Natu was finalised.
