Telecom company Bharti Airtel has announced a new introductory unlimited data plan for its 5G users. In this offer, prepaid and postpaid customers of Airtel will be able to use unlimited 5G data without paying any extra charge for 4G recharge.
This Airtel offer is available on plans of Rs 239 and above. Airtel 5G users currently do not have any daily limit on the monthly plan. The company has launched this plan in the market to compete with Jio’s 5G welcome offer.
To use Airtel Unlimited 5G data, users must have a 5G capable device and the device must be in Airtel’s 5G network area. That is, if Airtel’s 4G signal comes in your area, then you will not be able to take advantage of this offer. You will be able to claim this offer through the Airtel Thanks app on Android and iOS. Here we are telling you the step by step process to activate it.
Activate unlimited 5G data by following 6 steps
- Step 1: User open the Airtel Thanks app on your Android or iOS device.
- Step 2: On the home screen of the app, scroll down and you will get the message “Claim Unlimited 5G Data” and an arrow.
- Step 3: A new page will appear as soon as you tap on this arrow, scrolling here will show “Unlimited 5G Data”. ₹ 0 message will be found below this.
- Step 4: On further scrolling down the page, the option of “Claim Now” will appear.
- Step 5: After tapping on Claim Now, a confirmation message will be received on the mobile number.
- Step 6: This message states that the Unlimited 5G data offer has been activated.
